The Highland Games
In a world,
Deep in the Highlands of Western Pennsylvania,
We wished to see great tests of bravery and strength,
Dreamed of the Scottish blood of the Brennans,
And prayed for finer plaid than what ye’d find at the Goodwill.
'Twas there on every third Saturday of July,
Where the sun rose o’er the Glen of Redhawk.
That two bold brothers and their bonny wives
Opened up their lands…
to the CLANS.
